MLB Network, January Important Dates

The MLB Network is set to launch on New Years Day (this Thursday) to over 50 million homes. The Network has put together a great lineup of shows. Here is the first 4 days schedule for the MLB Network (all times Central):

January 1- Network Launches at 5:00

schedule continues to alternate between the 2 shows all night

So it's the second to last day of 2008. In my mind that means that it's time to move on and get ready for the 2009 season for the Chicago Cubs because it's right around the corner. Here's the important dates coming up this month.

Janury 1- MLB Network Launch, Winter Classic
January 12- HOF Balloting Results announced
Mid Jan.- WBC Roster will be announced
Jan. 14-15 Cubs Caravan
Jan. 14- Len and Bob Bash
Jan. 16-18 Cubs Convention 2009
