Cubs Rumors and Notes

• The Cubs do not have interest in Oliver Perez.
• Cubs.com reports that the Tribue Company has selected a favorite to buy the Cubs. It does not say whether the favorite is Hersh Klaff, the Rickets Family or Utah/Hindery.
• Keith Law ranked the top 100 prospects from MLB. Josh Vitters is the highest Cub on the list, ranking 14th overall. Link to the full list.
• John Heyman says the Rickets family is the favorite to buy the Cubs.
