- Orlando Hudson said he's talked to the Nationals, Dodgers, Mets, and Yankees last week on Hot Stove, but did no mention the Cubs.
- Godon Wittenmyer reports that the Cubs could add Jake Peavy or another veteran pitcher this Spring.
- The Cubs could also be looking to add a lead off man like Roberts or Figgins.
- The sale of the Cubs is nearly complete according to Wittenmyer.

Mark Prior only gone for three years? Come on man, please! He had a great talent when he came up, but injuries have killed him. He will never be top pitcher again. A #4, a #3 AT BEST, is when he will be. Maybe a bullpen pitcher?
ReplyDeleteI agree. I would like to see him bounce though, he was one of my favorite guys in 2003. I really don't think Prior could even be a #3 guy, there's just very little chance that he'll stay healthy.
