What is it with the Reds and Padres? Today, Cincinnati signed Jacque Jones and Daryle Ward to minor league deals. The Padres have signed Cliff Floyd to a 1 year deal. So last year the Reds had Patterson, Bako, and Hairston. They have our former manager Dusty Baker. They also have Dick Pole, Chris Spier, and other former Cub coaches on their staff. Now Jones and Ward! The Padres took Maddux, Prior and Barrett after their time with the Cubs, now Floyd! San Diego even has former WGN Radio broadcaster Andy Masur in their booth!
