So overall, I'd give the Cubs off season a C+.
Don't miss next week I'll look at the off season of all the other NL Central teams, starting with the Pirates on Monday.
sportsbook.com has announced the 2009 Word Series Odds.
The Yankees have the best odds at 5/1. The Cubs and Mets are tied for second best with 7/1 odds. As for the rest of the NL Central,
Reds 50/1
Astros 40/1
Cardinals 30/1
Pirates 200/1

What you did on this post, I just did this same exact post this morning. You should look atit and did they say anythinh on talking baceball today. Like rumors or notes.
ReplyDeleteI did not get a chance to listen to the whole show of Talking Baseball today, but I did hear some of it. Chicago Baseball expert Bruce Levine was not there today, so it was just Jonathan Hood by himself. When I was listening Hood talked mostly about A-rod failing a drug test in 2003. I'll have a post if I find any info.
ReplyDeleteCubs vs. Yankees for the WORLD SERIES!!! Be great to watch, but first we must win a SERIES!! I know the Cubs can do it!!
ReplyDeleteGO CUBS
cubsland- I'd rather the Cubs play someone besides the Yanks if we do make it to the World Series. Once the Cubs finally make it to a WS, they have to win it. I'm exited for the first 2 games at the new Yankee Stadium even though they're meaaingless. I hope both teams play the regulars for most of the game for the 2 games.
